The fourth official Doodle Swap has started and is now mailed out — and these were my submissions (remember #3?). View the entire set here.
If you are wondering where the inspiration came from, I had bought myself and a friend “doodle-a-day” calendars. In the beginning of the month, one of the days instructed to complete the snowman (it had the outline of three snowballs in a snowman-like-fashion)…. and for whatever reason, I drew a snowman taking a photograph
I really wanted to try out a different medium, so I searched around my supplies and found watercolor colored pencils… I won’t lie, I’m really in love with this set!
Please click here to view all of them, and if you have time to stop by the Doodle Swap Flickr Group, please do so. The group itself has grown so large it has been split off into three sub-groups of 9 people. I’m sure it will continue to grow… and it’s all thanks to my friend Mary!

Personal theme was “I love Colorado”…
My final submissions for the Doodle Swap Project were created using colored pencil on recycled brown paper bags cut up into the small pieces.
